As you might expect, the thrill and excitement of sailing Delmar is not the only activity on hand for you and your family and friends to enjoy during your Blue Cruise. There's a whole variety of liesure activities availble which will satisfy everyones interests regardless of age or ability. For the adventursom, there's water skiing, wakeboarding, parasailing, jetskiing, snorkeling, fishing and hiking. For the inquisitive there are interesting archeological and historical antiquities and museums to explore as well as unique village shops and emporiums. For the rest of us, there are quaint shady restaurants where you can take it all in while enjoying a cool drink and something savory to eat.
Activities
Snorkeling, Swimming & Sunning!
One of the most enticing activities available is to simply slip into the warm Aegean water during the morning, afternoon or evening and enjoy a refreshing swim, float or snorkling tour. Take Delmar's Kayak or SUP for a paddle, create a floatilla of noodle chairs with your friends or take a dive off the gang-plank which can be raised and lowered to your prefered diving or jumping hieght. Soak up the sun on deck and enjoy the quiet serenity. You may even want to take an evening swim with schools of fish eluminated by Delmar's blue underwater lights.
Dining, Shopping & Relaxing!
Good times with friends and family wouldn't be complete without sharing wonderful and satisfying
meals together! Dine on Delmar and enjoy a variety of savory international cuisines and traditional mediterreanean dishes. Occationally, you may choose to venture out into the village to try out local cafes and bistros. Many of the villages and towns offer a lively nightlife with numerous restaurants, cafes and pubs that line the bay.
Fishing, Hiking & Exploring!
The Lycia Coastline and Greek Islands provide for excellent hiking and exploring opportunities. Nearly every harbor, bay or cove contains plenty of important landmarks with historic and archeological significance. Over thousands of years civilizations have risen and fallen here leaving behind traces which still exist today. Remnants of Ottoman, Byzantine, Roman and Greek fortresses are commonplace as well as intricutly carved burial tombs dating even further back. From metropolitan trading centers to small fishing enclaves, much of this rich history is located along the coast lines and many times the only way to access these places is from the sea.
Waterskiing, Wakeboarding & Tow Tubes!
Delmar's tender is capable of towing waterskiers and wakeboarders. Feel free to arrange these activities with the Captain for the appropriate time and place. There is addtional cost, but only to cover the fuel. The Captain and crew can also assist you in arranging similar activities with local venders at many of the bays and coves. Local vendors provide frequent opportunities for activities such as waterskiing, wakeboarding, tow tubing, banana tubes, parasailing, jetskiing, windsurfing and scuba diving.
