Delmar is a 22 meter (72 foot) classic wooden sailing ship known as a "Turkish Gulet". Her sleek lines and gently tapered stern (back of the boat) define Delmar as a "true gulet" as opposed to other turkish ships that are squared off at the back.
Delmar was built in Bodrum, Turkey during 1997 and commissioned in 1998 using the highest grade oak, mohagany and teak woods. Originally sailing under an Italian flag, Delmar has always been privately owned and seldom offered for charter.
Delmar is a well known contender in the Annual Bodrum Cup Sailing Regatta. In 2012/13, Delmar changed owership and was refitted and updated to exceed current standards.
